I was denied boarding because the flight was overbooked. What can I do?

If you checked in and arrived at the airport within the required times, you are entitled to the remedies provided by Türkiye's SHY-Passenger Regulation for denied boarding. Be careful, though: what you are owed varies case by case, depending on your check-in and arrival times and on whether you accept the offers the airline makes you. Airlines are legally allowed to sell more tickets than there are seats, and if not enough volunteers come forward, they may select which passengers are denied boarding.
